07 Apr COVID-19 Update | April 7th, 2020
We are continuing to communicate and follow all recommendations from our Provincial and local Health Authority, and our Governing bodies, both The College of Dental Surgeons of BC and the College of Dental Hygienists of BC. In accordance with their mandates, we have now closed our office indefinitely to general dentistry, hygiene cleanings, and walk-in office traffic until further notice. At this time, we are also unable to provide emergency dental care in the office, however, we are available by phone for a consult should you be experiencing any dental pain. We will continue to contact our patients personally to reschedule their appointments booked for upcoming general dentistry. If you have a hygiene cleaning appointment booked, please assume that this has been canceled until further notice. We will have staff available to answer any phone calls at the office between 8 am and 1 pm Monday to Friday, should you have any general inquiries. They can also direct you to one of our dentists should you be experiencing a dental emergency. Rest assured that our staff is eager to return to work and see our True Dental patients. We continue to hope that this closure will be as short as possible but all dental practices have not received any indication from our Health Authority in BC as to when we will be able to return to treat our patients in the office. We want to thank all our patients and staff for your understanding and patience during this unprecedented time.
Our office will continue to be in communication with our Governing Bodies and the Health Authorities, to get updates on when we can return to provide treatment to our much valued and missed True Dental Family. We truly do value each and every one of you. Once we have been informed that we can return to providing treatment to our patients safely, our dedicated administration team will work diligently to contact all patients that were affected by this closure. We will be contacting patients in the order that your appointments were unscheduled in, and all emergency patients first. We ask that all patients be understanding and cooperative during this process. We will continue to update you by email as we know any further information.
Thank you,
Dr Don MacRae, Dr Jeff Krawchuk, Dr Ersilia Coccaro, Dr Kevin Head
