26 Mar COVID-19 and Dentistry Update – March 24th, 2020
True Dental has continued to make every effort to contact our patients and their families in order to keep them updated with respect to CoronaVirus and our practice, and the effects on future treatment. On Monday, March 23rd, 2020 the BC Health Authority along with our regulating bodies assessed that providing dental care to patients during the CoronaVirus Pandemic posed too high of a risk for the transmission and spread to patients and staff. Because of this all Dentists and Dental Practices have been mandated to suspend all treatment to patients until further notice. This includes all emergency and non-essential care. In order to comply with this mandate, and to continue to keep our patients and staff safe during this time, True Dental will be closed until further notice. If you have a scheduled appointment between now and Easter break, please note that these appointments have been canceled. We will update our patients should anything further change. During this closure, our Dentists will be available to assist you by telephone should a dental emergency happen, in order to give you direction or to provide you with any pain management prescriptions. Please call our voice mail messaging system and it will provide you with YOUR family dentist’s contact information. Please call YOUR Dentist that your family has been seeing as they will know your medical history best.
